A small battlefield cemetery. You follow a long grass path from the road to this cemetery. The trees mark the main road and across it are further cemeteries.
|
The Commonwealth War Graves Commission are always at work keeping the cemeteries in good order. Sometimes in a small cemetery this can cause problems to the visitor. The grass has to be given time to grow though. I managed to visit and take my photos without disturbing the newly seeded ground.

By next year the grass will be fully restored again. The roses and shrubs do add some colour though.
